Does anyone know at what age does hrt become less effective?
Hrt as in hormone treatment/therapy….for trans people.
So would it be more effective to start hrt at 24,25 or pretty much the same to start at 28…30+years old….etc?
Can anyone please help?

Contact the *** center or pflag.org and they will hook you up with a (legit) trans group. You can talk to someone who has gone thru the transition and can answer your questions honestly. They’ll know plenty of doctors too.
My best.
The younger you start the more effective hrt can be. There’s no age at which it absolutely will not be effective, but there’s seldom any good biological reason to delay.
More importantly, the younger you start, the more years of your life you will have as your true self.
A general rule is that the younger you are the more effective HRT will be.
However, I know some transwomen that started HRT in their early 40s that have had excellent result and then I know one transwomen that’s 18 and has barely seen any results at all.
Everyone is different but again the younger you are the more likely you are to have better results.
As with all things transition related:
YMMV (your mileage may vary)
The biggest factor is something that can’t be predicted:
