Besides HRT, is there anything I can do to deal with skin changes at menopause?
I am 50 years old. As I get closer to full menopause, my skin is becoming dry, scaly and itchy (severe at times). My family doctor has prescribed an ointment and then a lotion which did not help. OTC’s have not helped. Other than HRT, is there anything that I can do?

Alendronic acid alternatives - Natural alternative to alendronic acid - Alternative to alendronic acid Is there a better alternative to alendronic acid for an osteoporosis sufferer who has came off HRT?
The health clinic advised coming off HRT,( which was by far the most effective treatment), due to recent carcinogenic effects, however the side effects of alendronic acid, which I am now on are horrendous. I am now quite desperate and looking for an answer to this question.

Anyone out there that has taken HRT gone off it and lost weight?
I have been on HRT for 8 years I went from a sz 8 to a 12 and feeling very uncomfortable, I **** it, just thinking if I went off the HRT would I loose weight? Has anyone out there gone off HRT and lost weight?
I don’t overly eat either. I know I need to exercise since I sit at a computer all day. Let me know.

How long did it take for you to notice your HRT working?
I was diagnosed with premature ovarian failure in 2003. Just last week, I was officially diagnosed was postmenopausal – at the age of 34.
I’ve started the Vivelle patch and Prometrium. I’m wondering for those of you who are on HRT, how long did it take to see an improvement in your symptoms?
